Ope, I gotta say, this place was a gem! The lovely couple running it made us feel right at home, checking in on us and even giving us umbrellas for the rain. Breakfast was a beautiful spread with a view of the garden – just perfect. The onsen was so nice after all that walking around. I tell ya, I coulda stayed there forever!

missingWrote a review on Jul 07cozy layoutauthentic decormeal confusion
The Japanese-Style Economy Room had a cozy layout with authentic decor, enhancing the overall experience. Access to a shared bathroom with ample hot water made for a comfortable stay.
Additionally, the lack of dinner options meant frequent trips out to find snacks, as nothing was available on-site, which detracted from the otherwise pleasant experience.

I recommend it for solo travelers
Had a warm welcome, the husband and wife who run the place made sure we felt right at home. The shared onsen was a lifesaver after walking all day. it was so clean and nice to unwind in private.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but honestly worth every penny.

The traditional breakfast was a highlight for our family, served in a cozy room overlooking the beautiful garden. Having fun slipping into their comfortable robes after exploring the area made our stay even more enjoyable.
My wife says that the low seating at meals was a bit tough on our backs.

Staying at this traditional ryokan was an unforgettable experience. The spacious room ensured a restful night on the tatami mats, and the onsen-like family bath was a perfect way to unwind after exploring. Meals were a highlight. breakfast warmed us up with its delicious offerings, and the smoked meat was a unique bonus that delighted our taste buds. However, there was a minor issue with hot water availability during peak times, and the shared bathroom could use more frequent cleaning. Despite these small drawbacks, the welcoming atmosphere left a lasting impression.
